However, MSI has also tossed in some refined designs that should appeal to gamers and content creators alike. The result are some formidable new laptops that should appeal to gamers and content creators alike. Let's take a look.

MSI GS66 Stealth

The 15.6-inch GS66 Stealth represents MSI's bid to pack a surprising gaming punch in a chassis you wouldn't expect that kind of power from. The look of the laptop is all black, aiming for an understated design. The goal, MSI says, is to have a low-profile gaming laptop that you can also take to the office without batting an eye.

Underneath the sandblasted black exterior, you'll find NVIDIA RTX SUPER series GPUs, and up to an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor. The new Intel chip alone offers up to 5.3GHz of single core performance, and can net nearly 50 percent greater speeds than a prior generation Core i7-9750H, MSI says.

With that sort of hardware on the inside, MSI has matched the GS66 with a 300Hz "IPS-level" display. In other words, you'll be able to push fast, smooth framerates as high as the hardware can achieve. Powering it all is a 99.9 Whr battery.

MSI is also talking up the cooling in the GS66 Stealth, which it will need to counteract the speeds the Intel CPU is capable of. The Cooler Boost Trinity+ system, as MSI calls it, uses 0.1mm fan blades to drive more airflow.

Rounding things out is a Thunderbolt 3 port that can hit data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps and 8K display output. There's also per-key RGB lighting on the Steelseries keyboard.

Where the GS66 Stealth aims for an understated look, the 15.6-inch GE66 Raider goes all-in on the gamer aesthetic. We're talking prominent RGB lighting and an aggressive design that still manages to look pretty sleek. Up front, MSI has included Mystic Light bar that can cycle through RGB lighting while you game.

Inside, you're once again looking at Intel's 10th Gen H-series CPUs (up to Core i9), along with up to an NVIDIA RTX 2080 SUPER graphics. You'll get the same sort of performance as the GS66 Stealth, including up to 5.3GHz of single-core speeds from the Intel Core i9-10980HK.

Once again, there's also the option for a 300Hz display here, along with a per-key RGB lit Steelseries keyboard.

Gaming laptops aren't the only area MSI is pushing power. Creators can also check out the new MSI Creator 17. The 17-inch laptop packs alot of the same hardware specs as MSI's gaming laptops, but with a focus on tuning for creative tasks like video and photo editing.

The Creator 17 can be equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-10875H, which is an 8-core CPU with a max single core turbo frequency of 5.1GHz. Where the Creator 17 really shines, however, is its display.

The screen on the Creator 17 is what MSI is calling the "world's first Mini LED display" in a laptop. It's a 4K panel that meets DisplayHDR1000 standards, which means it can hit over 1000 nits of brightness. Thanks to its Mini LED setup, you'll also see more accurate colors and better contrast between the light and dark areas of the screen.

The Creator 17 weighs in at under 5.5 pounds and measures 0.80-inches thick. So, it's not the lightest laptop around, but it's not the thickest either.
