Need for Speed Payback is just around the corner for both consoles and PC. And while console players don't have to give any thought to their system specs, PC gamers will need the right hardware to hit the ground running. If you're looking to get your PC up to snuff before release, EA has now announced the minimum and recommended specs for the PC version of the game.
At the low end, EA says you can pull off 720p gameplay at 30 frames per second on low settings with an Intel Core i3 6300, 6GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 750 Ti (or AMD Radeon HD 7850). Those are the absolute minimum required specs, but they aren't particularly demanding by any means.
In terms of recommended specs, however, things get a little steeper. For 1080p at 60 frames per second on high settings, EA says you'll want at least an Intel Core i5 4690K with 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1060 (or AMD Radeon RX 480) graphics. If you're intending to play at a higher resolution of framerate on high settings, you'll have to experiment with what your setup can achieve.
Need for Speed Payback is due to release on November 10. The game is up for preorder now at $59.99 across consoles and PC. You can find the full, detailed list of PC specs below.
