New Resident Evil game possibly in development according to Capcom invites

What you need to know

  • Capcom's Resident Evil series has been revived ever since Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
  • It looks like the team is working on another title.
  • Recently, the company sent out invites to Resident Evil Ambassadors about a new game.
  • Many of the Resident Evil games are available on Xbox Game Pass.

Ever since Capcom released Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, the company has been on a roll. Not only did Monster Hunter: World and Devil May Cry 5 garner amazing reviews, but the Resident Evil 2 remake blew everyone away. Since then, fans of the franchise have been wondering what was next for the Resident Evil franchise. Well, it looks like a new game is already in development and ready for testers.

According to a report by Biohaze, Capcom's Division 1, responsible for developing the Resident Evil, has sent out a recruitment email in Japan in search of game testers. The email said the following.

To all Resident Evil Ambassadors, thank you for your patronage regarding the Resident Evil series. Today, we are letting you know that we are recruiting testers for a game that's in development! We are interested in incorporating the feedback of all Ambassadors into our development, so please read the details below and, if you are interested in participating, click the Entry button.

It looks like there's a new Resident Evil in development, but it's unclear if it's Resident Evil 8 or a rumored remake. Only time will tell. Maybe one of these testers will leak it. A lot of the Resident Evil games are available on Xbox Game Pass at the moment. You can play critically-acclaimed titles like Resident Evil 4 for one monthly price.

There are a few ways to purchase Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One and PC. While you can get individual subscriptions for $10 a month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate bundles Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass on PC, and Xbox Live Gold into one package for $15 a month.
