Eve is gearing up to launch another flash sale for its Eve V tablet. In an email sent out to people who signed up for updates on its website, Eve announced that the next sale will kick off on January 22. But, as has been the case with previous sales, quantities will be limited.
What makes the Eve V interesting is that it was a community project, with Eve soliciting input from fans on what hardware and features they'd like to see on the finished product. That process yielded a Surface-like tablet with a range of different hardware configurations available.
At the top end, the Eve V can be equipped with a seventh-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. The display is a 12.3-inch 2880 x 1920 IGZO LCD panel, and Eve claims battery life can reach up to 12 hours. Other tidbits include a fingerprint sensor, along with a 2MP front camera and a 5MP shooter on the front.
As far as its design is concerned, the Eve V includes a kickstand and detachable keyboard. Pricing starts out at $959, but it can top out at $1,999.
Apart from the January 22 date, there's no exact time available for the sale just yet, but we expect more information as the sale draws closer. If you're interested in picking up an Eve V for yourself, however, you'll likely have to act quickly, as each model will be available in limited quantities.
