Office Sway app for Windows 10 revealed in the Store

We know that Microsoft has a Windows 10 app planned for Office Sway and it appears as if its debut isn't too far away. The app is now available in the Store, though it doesn't actually work yet it seems. On opening we're greeted with the message seen in the image above.

Despite this, the Store listing does reveal to use what the new app looks like.

"Reimagine the way your ideas come to life. Sway is a digital storytelling app for work, school and home that makes it quick and easy to create and share polished, interactive reports, presentations, personal stories, and more. Add your content, and Sway will do the rest."

Sway has been absent from Windows and Windows Phone thus far despite apps appearing on the iPhone and iPad in recent times. That left the web app the only way to go for Windows users, but it looks like we're getting a nice looking app for Windows 10.

Until we can actually use it we're not able to comment on performance and features, but from the screenshots alone it looks like its nicely done. Check them out in the gallery below.

  • I don't have the patience to make you feel bad right now.

  • Just having a bit of fun. I think this is the first time I was ever the first to post.
  • Seems patiencelessier Off topic - Don't forget that Microsoft "meme" characters are .png so you can perfectly pin them to your Start screen with #TileArt app :).
  • Emphasize?
  • @Richard Indy:
    Does anyone really care anymore?!
I'm really fed up with Microsoft treating Windows users as second grade delivering stuff years later than on competing platforms.
  • Seems like your mother likes to sit on my dick and spin
  • How old are you again?
  • USA Today & VBA8 also released its Windows 10 app.
  • screenshots alone it looks like its nicely done? :P you know, background and test, it looks like nothing to me, if has a nice backrgound and nice green so it might look good on release (even if features aren't impressive)
  • I did one sway. If I need another I'll try the app.
  • This has been there for weeks. If you click the Get Office app, it takes you to the link to the Sway page. I tried to download it, but kept getting errors.
  • So why didn't you tip us?!
  • Here's a tip: pay me next time! /s
  • Tbh though, I didn't think it was worth the mention. I assumed you already wrote something about it.
  • This is one of the features we really need in Store app, a date showing the last day an app was updated or published.
  • Feedback app is your friend. The more people say the want the feature, the higher t
