Travel with your data anywhere with $23 off the Samsung T7 2TB portable SSD
Today you can get the Samsung T7 2TB portable solid state drive on sale for $206.99 through Newegg (opens in new tab). Just use the code SSBR2225 during checkout to see the savings. This sale is part of Newegg's Shell Shocker deals, which are daily deals that rotate every morning. That means the price is pretty temporary, so you'll want to get it while you can. Just for comparison, the lowest price this version of the T7 has ever been on Amazon is $221 and it was selling for as much as $260 toward the beginning of the year, so you're saving quite a chunk of change here. The savings only apply to the 2TB version, the largest capacity of the T7, and only in the Blue color.
Samsung T7 2TB portable SSD | $23 off (opens in new tab)
Use code SSBR2225 during checkout to take off an extra $11 from the already discounted price. The T7 is a super fast portable drive with read and write speeds of 1,050 Mb/s and 1,000 MB/s respectively when using USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. Is shock resistant, can survive being dropped, and has advanced heat control with dynamic thermal guard tech.
When we reviewed the Samsung T7 last October, we gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 and a Recommended badge. Richard Devine said, "The real benefit to the T7 is its size... it weighs only 58 grams and literally fits inside any pocket. It's beyond convenient to carry about, and it's also plenty tough enough."
In addition to the 1TB capacity, you get read and write speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and 1,000 MB/s respectively. Compared to the previous-generation T5 portable SSD that's nearly double the speeds. Maximize the speeds you get by using the T7 with a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, otherwise it might not quite be that fast. The SSD is still backwards compatible with older ports, and the reliability stays solid no matter what.
When it comes to durability, you'll find the T7 is shock and drop resistant. It can bounce around in your backpack or purse with no issues. You can take it with you anywhere you go. It also has a dynamic thermal guard that helps keep it cool and protects your data while it's in use.
You'll get both a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A cable so you can make this SSD work with a variety of ports.

Score! Thanks for the tip. Should be good to have a few portable virtual machines on this drive.
Thats a really good deal! I think I paid about that much for my 500GB T7. Its a great portable SSD. I would recommend not using the Samsung encryption software unless you need to use it on many platforms though. I have had much better experience using BitLocker, but I am only using the drive on my 2 Windows machines.
