Microsoft is gearing up for some big Presidents Day deals, and this is one worth pointing out on its own because it's already live and a fantastic price. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 49-inch gaming monitor has matched its lowest price at $1,999.99. It's still going for around $2,500 at other retailers, and even where it's on sale it isn't as low as Microsoft's deal. Get it while you can because this price tends to not last long. It might even last through Presidents Day next Monday, realistically. This matches what we saw during Black Friday, so you're getting a holiday-level price here.

Not only do you get 49 inches to work with, you also have Samsung's Mini LED Quantum Matrix tech to make every inch stand out. It has low input lag, adaptive sync technology, and VESA mounting.

This monitor was first announced back in July of last year. It's got features that would rival your living room TV, but it's designed with gamers in mind so it really hones in on the specifications you'd want to pair with an ultimate PC build.

For one thing it has a pixel resolution of 5120 x 1440, which is essentially 1440p with a lot more pixels than your average monitor given the length of the screen. It has a refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 1ms. That means you're seeing what's on the screen as fast as possible and you're getting up to four times the frames displayed on your screen every second. It also has a low input lag of 2ms, which is so insignificant you won't even notice.

The visuals use Samsung's Mini LED Quantum Matrix technology for incredible dimming zones, 4x the luminance when compared to normal panels, and more. You get deep blacks, bright whites, and awesome image quality all around. With Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync support, you can match every frame with your graphics card so there's no screen tearing.

Other features include VESA mounting options and a ton of connectivity with two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, and two USB-A 3.0 ports.

Be sure to take a look at the other items in Microsoft's sale at the official website.
