just because Christmas is over doesn't mean you have to give up the savings. The Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB NVMe M.2 solid state drive is on sale for a uniquely low price through B&H, where it's down to $49.99 thanks to a holiday price drop to $79.99 and an on-page coupon that takes another 38% off the price. This deal is better than Amazon and many other retailers. It's the lowest price we've seen, including over the holidays. The drop to $50 puts this drive in a very affordable spot, especially if you haven't made the switch to a drive with the super fast NVMe tech yet.

Puts this extremely fast solid state drive firmly into bargain territory. This is a huge discount and the lowest price we've seen on the 500GB version of this drive.

B&H is still offering holiday pricing on the other capacities of the 970 Evo Plus as well. The 2TB version of this drive is down to $229.99 there. That's not the all-time lowest price we've seen, but it is $30 better than other retailers including Amazon.

The 970 Evo Plus uses NVMe tech for super fast read and write speeds. It can reach up to 3,500 MB/s and 3,300 MB/s respectively. Compare that to the Samsung 870 Evo, which is a great drive but is actually more expensive at Amazon right now and only has read/write speeds of 560 and 530 MB/s. Regular hard drives only achieve speeds around 150 MB/s or so, so the 970 Evo Plus just blows those out of the water.

Use Samsung's free Magician software to optimize your drive, keep it up to date with firmware, and protect your data. The drive even has a Dynamic Thermal Guard that helps monitor the temperature and minimize performance drops.
