S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to launch as a console exclusive on Xbox Series X
By Jez Corden last updated
Cult apocalypse franchise S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will get its long-awaited second outing as a console launch exclusive on Xbox Series X.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a radioactive shooter franchise set in the nuclear-blasted wilds of Chernobyl, full of mutants, anomalies, and other irradiated hazards. The franchise has been quiet for years, but remains a cult hit on PC, where modders and fans painstakingly repaired the game through community-built patches.
The sequel looks to have secured investment from Microsoft, since it will launch exclusively on console for Xbox Series X, Microsoft's next-gen gaming platform.
Check back soon for further details, but for now, check out the trailer above.

Not going to lie but this is probably the biggest surprise for me from the event, and definitely a game I'm going to keep an eye on.

Be a while. Apparently the trailer was just target stuff, this may be several years away.
