- A new trailer for The Surge 2 shows off some of your deadly moves.
- The game is currently set to release on September 24 for Xbox One and other platforms.
- You can preorder The Surge 2 for $60 from Amazon.
The Surge 2 is around the corner and publisher Focus Home Interactive keeps on releasing new footage from the action game. For those unfamiliar with the title, it's a lot like Dark Souls, but set in the future where exoskeletons and deadly viruses shape the world. According to developer Deck13 Interactive, The Surge 2 continues to utilize the franchise's signature limb-targeting system, allowing you to rip and tear equipment from your foes using brutal executions. The new trailer focuses on combat.
You can purchase The Surge for $60 through Amazon or the Microsoft Store. There will be expansions, but they can be bought separately because there doesn't appear to be a season pass at the moment. Luckily, the game is Xbox One X Enhanced and should feature a 60 frames per second mode on the console. How the title performs when gamers get their hands on it will be the real question, however.
