Sword Art Online is an incredibly popular Japanese anime series about a group of people stuck in a virtual reality game. While the first game from Bandai Namco was good, it looks like Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris takes it further. I've always loved the fantasy setting of Sword Art Online more than the gun arenas, and it looks like Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris gives us just that.
Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris should launch on May 22, starting at $60 on Xbox One. It's unclear if the game is Xbox One X Enhanced, but we should know once the final build goes live on the Microsoft Store.
I'm really excited about the game and I hope it's somewhat of an open-world experience. Do you watch the anime? What do you think of the series? Let us know.
