Cuphead brings some vintage sexiness in these new Xbox One screenshots

Cuphead will hit both Xbox One and Windows 10 as an Xbox Play Anywhere title for $19.99. The game has expanded far beyond its original roots as a couch co-op boss-rush shooter, adding a range of platforming levels into the mix as well.

The most eye-catching thing about Cuphead are its visuals, which represent layers of hand-drawn, hand-animated pieces inspired by classic 1930s cartoons, with an edge of twisted creepiness.

To showcase that, here's a bunch of fresh screenshots from Cuphead for your perusal!

  •  Yes.
  • For what I've seen and read about this game, I have the impression that what it has going for itself in graphics, it lacks in gameplay. I hope I'm wrong and it's more than just a really pretty game with an unique presentation.
  • I'm worried that the game might turn into a hype box filled with disappointment. So far, it looks like Contra with awesome graphics which, in my books, it's an automatic 7/10. Lets see if they have responsive controls, exciting mechanics and most importantly: a fun game to play.
