Telltale's take on Guardians of the Galaxy gets April release date

Telltale Games has announced that its latest episodic series based on Guardians of the Galaxy will debut its first episode on April 18. Titled "Tangled Up in Blue," the first episode in the series will hit Xbox One, PC, PS4 and mobile platforms at the same time.
The April 18 launch, which will come in at $5 for the first episode, only covers the digital release. Telltale also has a physical release in store for May 2 with a special season pass disc, which will include the first episode and access to all subsequent episodes.
Finally, Telltale says it will have a new trailer to show off for the series on March 30. As details are a little light on the story that Telltale's series is tackling, hopefully this new trailer will give us a little more insight into what to expect. That said, if you're a fan of Telltale's approach to storytelling, then this latest release looks like it'll be a fun ride.

is there any major media franchise out there right now, that telltale isn't making a game of? Not that I have anything against them but I'd prefer something more creative with more depth.
I mean sure, Marvel is a popular franchise, but you know, Windows 10 is "the best windows for gaming" and this is what we have to show for it? Yet another flavor-of-the-year-mediafranchise-turned-choose-your-own-adventure by Telltale? (There must be a demand since they wouldn't be churning them out one after the other, so from a business standpoint it must be a lucrative venture, I give them that.)
Might as well report on League of Legends patches from now on, I guess that has a bigger audience among PC gamers. Or do they only make the cut if they get released on Xbox as well? Genuinely curious. -
Hey, could someone let Telltale know that they should actually make a NEW game for a change? And not just retread the same ground over, and over, and over, and over again.
