Avalanche Studios has announced that it is bringing its open world hunting game, theHunter: Call of the Wild, to the Xbox One later this year.
Already available for PC, Call of the Wild is a bit of a departure from some of Avalanche's other, more action-oriented titles like the Just Cause series and Mad Max. The game pits you in the shoes of a hunter in a vast, open-world environment, letting you set out on a virtual hunting trip either solo or with friends. And if hunting isn't your thing, you can just take in the sights and capture the wildlife on the in-game camera.
There's no firm date for a console release outside of "2017," but Avalanche Studios says it has a team dedicated to the console release already toiling away. If you'd rather play on PC, however, you can pick up the game on Steam for $30 now.
