If you own Microsoft's Treasure Tag hardware accessory, you can now use it as a remote shuttle for the Lumia Selfie app, thanks to newly released software updates for both products.
Once both updates are installed, the button on the Treasure Tag hardware can be pushed while the Lumia Selfie tag is running to take a picture. This rather useful update for both apps should make it much easier to take selfie photos, especially for the Lumia 730/735 and the recently announced Lumia 535 with their 5 MP wide angle front cameras.
The Lumia Selfie update also allows for photos to be automatically saved to a user's Camera Roll for the first time. The Treasure Tag app update adds a way to "manage alerts using quiet mode to automatically mute alerts while connected to Wi-Fi networks you select" along with some unnamed bug fixes and improvements.
