Turtle Beach wants you to blend in with its new Recon Camo gaming headset

Appropriately called the Recon Camo, Turtle Beach's latest gaming headset takes on a decidedly military aesthetic. And given its close proximity to the November 3 launch of Call of Duty: WWII (opens in new tab), it's pretty obvious what crowd Turtle Beach is going after here.

Aside from its camo flourishes, the Recon Camo headset is pretty standard fare. Included is a pair of 50mm over-ear speakers, a detachable mic, and in-line controls for master volume and mic muting. The headset is also compatible with anything that packs a 3.5mm headphone jack, including Xbox One and PS4 controllers, PCs, and mobile devices.

If the Recon Camo looks like it's up your alley, it's available now for $69.95 (opens in new tab).

  • Houry sheet that's one ugly piece...
  • Yep. I'm holding out for the fake leopard skin and gold model 'cause that's the only way to make 'em look any cheaper.
  • It'd love to hear some feedback from turtle beach owners. I'm still under the impression that they sell their plastic for prices way above their value/production cost.
  • Pssst... Lucidsound. Nuff said.
