Updated August 28, 2018: We reached out to developer Fatshark and asked about the Xbox One version of Shadows over Bogenhafen. According to a spokesperson, the DLC should launch on the console in September.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a melee action game with co-op gameplay. You, along with three other players, have to battle seemingly endless hordes of enemies in a gothic setting. The title introduces the dark, bloody, and twisted "Chaos" faction as the new enemy. However, that doesn't mean you won't be slaughtering legions of them. Other new features include expanded careers, environments, skill trees, and much more.
Today, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 got the "Shadows over Bogenhafen" DLC on PC. This $9.99 download brings new levels, quests, challenges, and cosmetics to the game. According to the developer, the heroes are tasked with investigating the source of the "Nurgle" infestation slowly consuming the city of Bogenhafen. You travel around the region, battling foes in various locations like the river or slums.
It's unclear when Shadows over Bogenhafen will launch on Xbox One. We'll keep you posted as soon as it hits the system.
You can either purchase Warhammer: Vermintide 2 outright, starting at $29.99, or play it through Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass membership costs $9.99 each month so be sure to check it out if you want a Netflix-style subscription for games.
