  • You can preorder it on Amazon

It wouldn't be E3 would leaks ruining the surprise of Ubisoft games. The latest victim? Watch Dogs: Legion. The title leaked about a week ago through an Amazon listing before subsequently being confirmed by Ubisoft themselves. Now at E3 2019, the developer finally gave us a look at what Watch Dogs: Legion is with a reveal trailer and extended gameplay demo.

Like the previous leak suggested, it does indeed take place in a post-Brexit London, where the UK is a surveillance state and "freedom has been replaced with fear." And yes, it looks like we'll be playing as NPCs, though it may be incorrect to call them NPCs at this point. According to the creative director, you can recruit and play as anyone. Every citizen is fully simulated and realized so that this is possible.

Watch Dogs: Legion will release on March 6, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
