Will The Division 2 have free DLC?
Will The Division 2 have free DLC?
What does Ubisoft plan to release during The Division 2's first year?
Ubisoft plans to release three large content "episodes" throughout the first year that expand the story with new narrative-driven content, alongside new Specializations. The Division 2 is even set to receive an 8-player endgame raid.
- D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions: Hunt a traitor to a wooded presidential retreat, cut the head off the Outcasts at the zoo, and experience the new Expeditions.
- Pentagon: The Last Castle: Fight your way through flooded environments and Black Tusk troops to reach the Pentagon. Explore the building and the DARPA labs beneath it, and retrieve a perfusion bioreactor before Black Tusk can smuggle it out through a Cold War tunnel network.
- Coney Island: The Hunt: Kidnapped virologist Vitaly Tchernenko may hold the key to curing the Green Poison, and he's about to be handed to the Black Tusk on Coney Island. Episode 3 adds new areas to explore in two main missions, two Classified Assignments, a new Firewall Specialization, and a familiar enemy: the Cleaners.
Do I need the Year One Pass to access the DLC?
No, you do not need the Year One Pass to play any of the major DLC content drops prior to Warlords of New York. The Year One Pass grants players 7-day early access to these Episodes and comes with a few additional mission assignments and bounties. It is not necessary to purchase it in order to play the DLC.
Stand together
Take back Washington
Civil war has fallen upon Washington D.C. after the pandemic. It's up to you and your fellow Agents to band together and save the city. And in a nice turn of events, its first year of DLC will be completely free.
