A new Windows 11 Insider Preview Build is here. It's build 22000.168, and it's primarily packing fixes, though it also contains a few surprises by way of a new widget and enhanced language support for Chat with Microsoft Teams. Here's the update list, courtesy of Microsoft:

  • We are delighted to announce Chat with Microsoft Teams now supports multiple languages. Starting today, you can use Chat app either with OS language setting and/or independent Teams Language setting. [...]
  • We're introducing the new Microsoft 365 Widget! This widget brings relevant documents, news and meeting recordings (with more to come!) to enterprise users. This widget will only be available if you are signed in with your AAD account on your PC running Windows 11. [...] To check it out just open widgets and click the "Add Widgets" button and select the Microsoft 365 Widget. We hope you love it!

In terms of fixes for existing problems, the "Search getting into a state where it wasn't possible to launch apps from the results" bug has been fixed for pen-enabled devices, crashing the settings Search box via certain phrases has been addressed, as have a Family widget message issue and two Chat problems.

You can see the full lineup of fixes, additions, and news over at Microsoft's site, including a lengthy list of all the languages that are now in the Chat app. Microsoft's blog post on the new build also outlines many issues the company is aware of and plans to address in the future.
