  • finally, the APP, has COME BACK, to the windows. store.
  • Am I dreaming?? Is this an alternate dimension where WM10 succeeded??? Lol! Finally the app is back!
  • 😂😂😂 (Posted from the updated app 😁)
  • Pssst - I'm writing this from the app. Praise Cthulhu!
  • commmenting on internet articles is cool, especially via apps
  • Agreed. Comment from the app is cool or me too.
  • Finally I can login after months of unable to comment from the app. YESSSSS
  • Whoop!! It feels good to be commenting again!!
  • Just reinstalling it onto my Lumia.
Edit: I guess some things don't change :(
  • WOW - Finally! Seems faster LOL
  • ahahh... ah the good old days.
  • Yeah, seems faster 🤣
  • That's great. I haven't been able to login for months. Now if they can fix the problem that when swiping up on the left border of an open page closes it. Or am I the only lefty with this issue?
  • New update seems faster.
  • OMG!!! It's finally back! I didn't know what to do when it told me I could respond to people lol. thanks for listening, now I don't have to go to the web to respond now or my phone all the time. By the way I'm writing this from my Surface Pro X, in which I have some questions about.
  • It's a miracle!
  • Finally I can comment again. Thank you
  • Finally, this is usable. Now time to see if MSPU does the same.
  • Yes, 100% this! About time!
  • Yeah we don't care about them though ;-)
  • I'm commenting directly from the app! Awesome update! Now the login works just fine and it's a bit smoother. Good job!
  • Would it take much effort to fix this on the W10M app? And on the desktop app notifications option still keeps turning itself off after setting it to "all" and exiting app and starting it back up. Been doing that for 2 years..
  • Will wonders never cease?
  • Amazing, I just saw it updating and was happy about it. Great looking app for the best site 😊
  • Any chance for an update on WM10 as well? I still have my Elite X3 and 950 XL for some good apps like redd planet, mytube and comics++. Will be good to have the windows central app updated on mobile too!
  • When are you going to do something with your desktop website though? We have no idea who is replying to who nor is there a way to find our posts other than rifling through articles to find one we have made a comment on and click on our name. Many of us uninstall all tiles and don't use desktop apps. How about some love for your actual website which is no doubt way more popular than a desktop app.
  • Still can't post from Windows 10 app even after update, do I need to log out and log back in?
  • Could help, yes. Since it was a caching issue, you may want to clear the cache as well from the Settings page of the app. OR reset it from Windows Settings app list.
  • Thanks, I'll try that.
  • It worked, thanks!
  • Hey, thank you so much for this very very welcomed update 👌😊😻
  • It's funny how I was trying to click on "Sign in and let us know of what you think" at least 10 times before I realized that just because I am reading about this does not mean that the app had already updated. Then I see that just because they fixed login issue does not mean that the app works as before. But this is great news. I was really sad not to find the Lumia news anymore on the top. Just for archive reasons it would have been a good thing.
  • Finally I CAN LOG INTO the app -_-
  • About time :D Although the small live tile is still showing the old Windows central logo??
  • Finally, they are back to UWP
But will you pls update the W10M app too.
  • Worked for a single day. Then the cookie expired probably and the commenting did not work again. I had to log out of the app and log back in, while the UI pretended to be up and running, only the submit comment button did nothing.
  • Awesome, now that this app is getting updates again after a century, how about some more fixes, add some acrylic blur effects, rounded corners, let it follow the system light and dark themes, and fix the notifications settings
