Gestulator is a calculator app for your Windows Phone that does away with the operations buttons and relies on swipe gestures instead. Gestulator is limited to the primary arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) but if you need to do some quick calculations, I can see it coming in handy.
For the most part, Gestulator functions like your basic calculator. Just enter your value and swipe in a particular direction to determine the operation and then enter your next value. The calculation appears up top with the equation just below.
Here is the Gestulator's gestures:
- Swipe up to add
- Swipe down to subtract
- Swipe to the right to multiply
- Swipe to the left to divide
- Double tap the screen to remove a figure
- Tap and hold the screen to clear the calculator
If you should need a refresher, when the calculator is clear there is a "i" button in the upper left corner that will pull up a help screen. Additionally, as you swipe in whichever direction, a key is exposed to show you which operation you are selecting.
Gestulator is a free app for your Windows Phone that you can find here at the Windows Phone Store.
