Griffin's Survivor Slim case offers rugged protection for your Surface Pro 4

Griffin, a well known name in the realm of mobile accessories, has unveiled the new Survivor Slim case for the Surface Pro 4 at CES 2016. As the name implies, the Survivor case is meant to keep your Surface Pro 4 safe in the event of some extreme mishandling while keeping the overall girth to a minimum.

According to Griffin, the Survivor Slim case for the Surface Pro 4 is designed to "meet or exceed military standards," which translates to drop protection from heights of up to 6 feet. The outside of the case is made from a mix of TPE and polycarbonate, while the interior features a silicone layer for extra cushioning on the device itself. There's also a screen shield on board that should help protect against any messy misadventures, while a cover will protect the device's kickstand.

Griffin says that the Survivor Slim case will be available at some point in January for $90. For now you can keep an eye on the product page at the link below to see when sales go live. And if you're still holding onto a Surface Pro 3, you can grab a Survivor Slim case for your tablet now for the same price.
