Halo: Master Chief Collection announced, coming to Xbox One November 11

Microsoft has just announced the Halo: Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One at E3 2014, a collection containing all four Master Chief-centric Halo titles. All four games will be presented through a unified interface for a seamless Halo experience.

The games will be updated with modern graphics, including the Halo 2 Anniversary edition, complete with the multiplayer it shipped with ten years ago. All four games will ship on a single disc, and the multiplayer modes will feature over 100 maps, running at 1080p at 60 frames per second. Everything in all multiplayer modes comes with the game unlocked. The collection comes with a total 4,000 potential gammerscore. If you want, you will be able to switch inbetween new and classic graphics.

The collection also comes with Halo: Nightfall, a live-action series from Ridley Scott that leads up to Halo 5: Guardians. Speaking of Halo 5, the multiplayer for that game will be available this holiday for gamers that purchase the Master Chief Collection.

The Halo: Master Chief collection will be available on November 11, 2014. Keep your eyes on our Microsoft media briefing live blog for the latest Xbox news.
