Leaked images that reportedly come from a hidden page on the Xbox Store may show that Microsoft will hold an open beta of the upcoming RTS game Halo Wars 2 for the Xbox One and Windows 10 from June 13-20.
MondoXbox posted the images (in Italian) of the Xbox Store with the Halo Wars 2 open beta. The start date is the same day Microsoft holds its E3 2016 press conference. Assuming these images are not faked, it's possible Microsoft could announce the open beta during the event.
Microsoft has revealed little about Halo Wars 2 since it was first announced in August 2015. We do know it's being developed by Sega's The Creative Assembly team that are in charge of the Total War games. Microsoft also recently confirmed Halo Wars 2 will be playable at E3 2016. We will be at the trade show to offer first hand reports on what Microsoft will be announcing and showing next week.
