Astroneer for Windows 10 and Xbox launches proper in December 2018

Astroneer is a wonderful little space sandbox game from System Era on Xbox Game Preview. It was one of the first third-party titles to fully support UWP and Xbox Play Anywhere, complete with cross-platform play.

In Astroneer, you land on procedurally generated alien worlds and craft all sorts of crazy facilities and vehicles in fully deformable terrain.

At Inside Xbox during E3 2018, System Era revealed that Astroneer will emerge from Game Preview in December 2018. The team also announced that the Steam version will support cross-play with Xbox and Windows 10 thanks to dedicated servers, which will expand the game beyond its 4-player co-op limit.

Astroneer will also continue to deliver on its planned roadmap even after its launch date, bringing in features like player goals, farming mechanics, and much more.

Astroneer is available now on Xbox and Windows 10 for $19.99.
