AT&T Dell Venue Pro gets massive discounts too

Looks like Dell is still either trying to push the DVP (see first impressions vid) as much as possible, or they're trying to ditch them. Either way, you can benefit from their price cuts, so long as you sign a contract. Previously, Dell was out of stock on the AT&T version, but now they're back for the buyin':

  • $0.99 for 8GB
  • $49 for 16GB
  • $99 for 32GB

We think with the v2.12 firmware and adding Mango, the DVP gets a second life and is worth reconsidering. If interested, head to Dell's site (opens in new tab). (Thanks, @wp7ap)

  • What happened to the Dell Wrigley? the Windows Phone that looked like the pro but had an 8MP camera?
  • Dell is pretty secretive so no one knows. Don't forget, the DVP kind of came out of nowhere too--so it's either cancelled or getting ready to come out.
  • I wish we Canadians could take advantage of this deal. I have been trying to get one of these since they went up for sale on Ebay. I even tried buying and having shipped to an American address, but no luck. If anyone finds a workaround for this, please let me know.
  • I just had a close associate in the U.S. order one for me. She could for you too, if you don't have someone who is able to do so. She's just going to turn around and mail it to me once it arrives at her place.
  • @lorettaboyI live in Montreal and I managed to have one shipped to a nearby freight forwarding service close to the Canadian border. Then it was just a matter of crossing the border and picking it up. A hassle for sure, but I am still glad I did it. I got it for half the price (based on the price from bought it with my Canadian credit car, I specified the freight forwarding service address as the billing address, and the order went through without any issue. I bought it directly from though... I too have attempted buying it from Dell's eBay outlet without succes. On eBay, I could not complete the check out process even though I had purchased a prepaid debit card in USD. PayPal insisted that I provide an US SSN. :-(Good luck,Antoine
