  • From the looks of it... Its a ported android app... I use Android app.. Same UI...
  • Perhaps they took advantage of project Astoria?
  • Unless they are using a preview version, it hasn't been officially released yet. I'm not so sure I'd trust my banking app to be just ported with beta software. It may be coincidence that the UI is the same.
  • The more the better. I hope it sparks interest in some of the US banks
  • Specifically... US Bank :) Their new mobile site doesn't work on my 1520 now too. Good thing I have a stream 7 with me often.
  • Never used them, but I hope they do make an app. I would really like to see as many banks as possible make apps for Windows 10 and WM10
  • nice, considering that the philippines is an android stronghold
  • Remember nokia days? Now android.. But the future is Windows. Most of the people i know are very interested in the platform... The exposure of low cost-high quality windows phones will get attention... I remember the good ol'days when android is just beginning here.. Same scenario...
  • Yes, but my friends only buy them, then sell it shortly.
  • Then they comeback and can't get over with the Windows experience.=) (Came form the user's who switched form Android as seen from feeds in Windows Phone Philippines group page)
  • A lot of people are taking advantage of the low end WP smartphones though.
  • Lumia 535 and Cherry mobile WP is getting a lot popular lately here.
  • Metro bank pls...

  • We're up like 30 banks now compared to the 2 everyone made a big stink about us losing.
  • Yes, but Chase & BofA are some of the largest banks in the US.
  • Those ARE the largest banks in the US.
  • Wells Fargo is up there too, and it has had a Windows app ever since I started using it (couple of years).
  • Don't forget all Indonesian bank has an windows phone apps since windows phone 7.
  • We have 35 different banks with apps for WP in Denmark. Still not every bank has one but there's lots to choose from.
  • Inb4 demands to Chase, BofA. SEE EVERYONE'S DOING IT!
  • My parents really miss their bank of America app when they want to check their balance on the go or make a transfer. Sooner it comes the better.
  • More people should leave BoA. They are nothing more than a shit show that screw people over anyway.
  • For those whose Store app says this isn't available, change your region to PHL :)
  • My region is set to ph. Still no luck. :(
  • hmmm. Mine was set on US first then I changed it back to PH. It worked. Maybe try to change to a new country then restart then change back to PH and restart again?
  • Ayaw talaga. :( Hindi kaya dahil sa carrier din to? Globe ako eh. May nabasa ako sa link smart and sun blabla
  • Globe din ako. Yung nabasa mo na Smart at Sun ayun yung may free access without data charge kapag pumunta sa app. Gumagana naman sakin. Ang smooth nga eh walang lag. Try mo magsoft-reset.
  • if your default app installation destination is SD card, it will throw an error. You must change the destination to phone storage.
  • Also not getting it from AUS, tried changing region to PHL na, ayaw pa din... Darn...
  • Couldn't get in on WP8.1, only got it for Windows 10 mobile
  • ^This. Seems only available for Win10 Mobile at the moment.
  • if your default app installation destination is SD card, it will throw an error. You must change the destination to phone storage.
  • App not available in your country? I'm in the Philippines. This is cool!!!
  • I kinda don't unerstand the no data charges part. Do banks charge their clients that use their mobile apps?
  • It's all about the need to use internet data while using the app. So, if you are subscribed to a local carrier, you can still use it in the road even if you don't have any mobile internet data balance available
  • HOLY CRAP. Thank you based BPI. I only access it through *119# when checking my balance on my Globe sim. That's a first. I seriously hope they go Universal app but I guess there's the main website for them.
  • Finally! Now all the apps I need are in. Just a matter of bringing these apps on par with their counterparts
  • At long last! I hope they come out with a Universal App for this soon so I can get this on my desktop and boast of it.
  • When i see one of my favourite local apps supporting W10 (they abandoned platform since WP 7.8), i can confirm that Win10 is success, at least for me. This amount of updates and releases of new apps these days is really promising for me!
  • Finally... but then I couldn't install it from AUS :( tried changing region and format to Philippines and still couldn't get it... what the... :(
  • It's been pulled from the store at the moment.
  • Still there, win10mobile store.
  • Still can't DL the app.. Changed the region to PH and all.. Does anyone have any workarounds?
  • It's on Win 10 Mobile Store, but says not available on WP8 Store. Could be that.
  • if your default app installation destination is SD card, it will throw an error. You must change the destination to phone storage.
  • Yes. Same here
  • Oh gosh, but im with PNB and BDO. :(
  • This is the App that I've been waiting for!
  • Since I started using windows phone I've been bugging them.. And their reply is always, we will announce when there's development. And yet I learned it from here! They should have sent me a personal email with ninja cat gif announcing this!
  • Finally!
  • Good news for me :D
  • B of A you have been punked by a bank from the Philippines.
  • Belfius bank of Belgium have also luanched a beautiful windowsphone app and we dont often see such great and wel-designed apps.
  • YESSS!!!! OH MY GOD!!! YES!!!! :)
  • You don't know how happy I am that this app finally made it to Windows Mobile. This is so awesome. Thank you BPI!!!
  • Waaa I think I want this ... Probably reopening my account
  • This seals the deal! this is my most wanted app and now it's finally here! I can finally die in peace with windows mobile! Finally! Lol.
  • And by the way, hope banks can learn some from the Windows Phone app of my bank Mashreq Bank (Snapp). This is the most user-friendly and most beautiful bank app that I have tried. I am using 4 bank apps right now.
  • Not available on Windows 10 Store. Ouch!
  • Requesting for BDO please!!!
  • Been waiting patiently for it since I asked customer service last year, and it did not disappoint. It's not an Android port, just sort of a familiar experience.
  • This just made my day! It's a decent app. They can still improve the performance though. There are bugs: under Settings/Enable Transfer to Anyone when selecting an account number, it doesn't show other account numbers; you are not able to select other source account numbers; you are not able to select other billers when paying bills; you are not able to select other prepaid amounts aside from the default P50, when reloading.
  • Hope I would see BDO, Metrobank, and RCBC to make their apps be avalable on Windows 10 Mobile. That's the all of the most trusted Bank here i the Philippines.
  • I have a payroll account from Banco de Oro. I wish they'd make one too...
  • Actually, the first Philippine banking app for Windows Phone is PSBank (Philippine Savings Bank).
  • Another reason to stay on Windows Mobile!!
