Blair Witch launches on Xbox Game Pass, gets terrifying launch trailer

At E3 2019, Microsoft surprised everyone by revealing a game inspired by the Blair Witch Project for Xbox One and PC. Blair Witch is a famous horror film franchise that is considered a cult classic. The game can be purchased for $30 through the Microsoft Store at the moment, but it's also available on Xbox Game Pass.

Since it's a $30 title, many gamers want to know how long the campaign lasts. Well, it takes between "5 to 6 hours" to complete. However, there's more to the story than meets the eye. According to an interview between Bloober Team's Maciej Glomb and GameWatcher, Blair Witch features multiple endings.

In Windows Central's review, Brendan Lowry wrote, "While Blair Witch certainly has its issues, it's a very good horror game. It's also a title that stays true to the source material, while bringing some new concepts to the table. The problems that I brought up prevent Blair Witch from being truly excellent, but Bullet's glitchy moments and the performance issues are things that the developer can hopefully improve with an update, making a great game even better. Even as it is, though, I still highly recommend Blair Witch if you're a fan of horror titles."

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate bundles Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Live Gold into one package. The monthly subscription fee goes up to $15 a month, but you gain access to over two hundred games instantaneously. Amazon is selling a three-month subscription for $45 at the moment.
