Will these cables work with Microsoft display dock?
-
Yes
-
It depends on which exact cables you're talking about, but not really, no. It appears their USB-C to USB-C cable uses USB 2.0 and therefore does not work from the phone to the Display Dock. I've also had no luck reliably using any third-party charger with the Display Dock, either.
-
damn this whole deal is about USB 2.0 this deal sucks then... i was about to order and then saw this comment and checked does it rly have 2.0 and it did -.-
-
Yeah, the USB 2.0 Type-C cables are going to be cheaper in general, because they have less wires and are completely passive. They also have no DisplayPort Alternate mode capability (what the Display Dock uses) because those pins aren't wired up. The full capability USB 3.1 Type-C cables require more wiring and active signalling, so they're going to cost a little more.

More Benson Leung approved cables! :D

Bought a dual port adapter for my car from this company. Has quick charge 2.0. Really good item. Never heard of the company before then. Would definitely buy more stuff from them.

I bought a Choe Iron Stand Qi chager from them recently. It is the best Qi charger I ever have. http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Charger-Charging-Adapter-Enabled/dp/B010B...

Better deals elsewhere. I hate Amazon cuz you pay Tax and Shipping. You can find everything else with free shipping and no tax. Got my cables for $8 U.S. 3.0

All depends on the marketplace seller

My 950 won't stream to my car stereo like my 920. Purchased a type 2 C to A and it charges now but still get the media error. Anyone know a cable that will get the music streaming again?
