Curious indie adventure Thimbleweed Park will hit Xbox One, PC on March 30

Thimbleweed Park, a curious little indie title that's been in the works for a while, has finally gained a release date. The classic point-and-click adventure game from the creators of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion will officially hit Xbox One and Windows 10 on March 30.

So what is Thimbleweed Park? The game brings together 5 protagonists to answer some deep questions and strange mysteries in the titular rundown town.

In a town like Thimbleweed Park, a dead body is the least of your problems. Switch between five playable characters to uncover the surreal secrets of this strange town in a modern mystery adventure game from the creators of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion. The deeper you go, the weirder it gets.

Each character has their own motivations and questions that will be answered over the course of a single night. And the adventure looks to be a strange one if what little bits and pieces we can gather from trailers are anything to go off of.

There's no word on a price for the game, but it will arrive on Xbox, Steam and GOG, though there's no word on whether this will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title. However, after having been shown off for Xbox One in 2015 at Gamescom, it's good to see the game coming to fruition.
