I'm all for delaying in the name of quality at release. On the other hand I understand that things change and the pandemic has obviously presented challenges, but what is this? The 3rd or 4th delay? Almost an entire year after it was originally supposed to release.
-
And? I mean CD projekt could delay it for next 10 years and I'd still be ok with it.....
-
Maybe they want the enhanced versions to be ready for the new consoles, because they're releasing around that time
-
They can keep delaying it for all I care. If that's what they have to do for it to be a finished and awesome game when it is released then I am all for it. I wish all game companies would follow this. It's not like there is any shortage of content whatsoever to keep us busy in the meantime.
-
Yep, exactly. No rush. Just ship when it's ready, my backlog of 300+ games cannot be finished for another 3 years anyways, not to talk of Game Pass goodies.
-
Next stop: only next generation consoles. (and that should happen on first place in my opinion)
-
Why on earth would that be a good idea, to alienate the masses that won't/can't upgrade right away?
-
With CD projekt you would have more chance to see them port it on Xbox OG than to see them cut out a current Gen....
-
I think it's ok. As long as this doesn't end like Crackdown 3, delayed year after year to finally end up with one of the most downgraded games in history.
Also it's important that they have a complete game at launch and not deadline decide what a game will have and not have...
Quality is what's important. Also not having a crunch period for devs...
It's ok, there are plenty of quality upcoming games coming up for gamers. I'm sure there'll be many who have a massive backlog of games to complete... -
How 8s crackdown downgraded?
-
Really??? You have to ask that after the crap we got? The game was just 'okay', and thats not okay when a game is hyped up for so long. It was a game with moments of fun, but far too short and simple in gameplay. The MP was awful for being the most hyped up ever. You can tell it was in development hell for so long. I never played the last Duke Nukem, but from what I heard it was on par with this.
-
Just don't delay until 2077. We can understand a couple more months. I might buy a new rig just for this game.
-
I bet they make a remaster in 2077 and it will probably be indistinguishable from reality.
-
You'll see Arnold Schwarzenegger instead of Keanu Reeves in 2077 remaster. ;)
