  • Yesterday, Xbox began teasing a Cyberpunk 2077 themed console.
  • An unlisted video of the console has popped up on the Xbox YouTube channel.
  • The Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X is set to release in June 2020.
  • Cyberpunk 2077 is currently scheduled to release on September 17, 2020.

Just yesterday, Xbox began teasing a Cyberpunk 2077 console through cryptic glitches and messages on the official Xbox website. Images of the console leaked shortly thereafter and now we have an official (though unlisted) video from the Xbox YouTube account. You can take a look at the video below.

The Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X included glow in the dark writing and the custom controller that leaked two days ago. While there's no exact date, there's now a release window of June 2020. The game is also included, though Cyberpunk 2077 won't launch until September 17, 2020.

CD Projekt Red has previously confirmed that Xbox One owners of Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X version through Smart Delivery, though there's no date for exactly when that upgrade will be available.

  • I'm curious as to why there is no mention of Steam, only GOG, as a place to purchase the game for PC? Was it requested by someone to omit Steam or was it oversight?

  • We also haven't got Epic in there. Generally this is a post about Xbox anyway, but since GOG is the publisher's own store, that went first. Also GOG is excellent and more people should buy their games from there. No DRM is better than DRM.
