EA Access members can now download EA Sports UFC on Xbox One

If you're an EA Access member, a new game has just been added for download. As expected, EA Sports UFC is now available in the Vault. It joins Battlefield 4, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Need For Speed Rivals, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, and Peggle 2 in an evolving collection of EA games on Xbox One that all EA Access members can play. I have just installed it on my Xbox One. Watch my first gameplay on video.

EA Sports UFC aims to deliver the most realistic take on Mixed Martial Arts. You can create your custom character and become The Ultimate Fighter in Career mode, or play as any of the legendary MMA fighters, past or present, in thrilling battles. The game was released for Xbox One in June, 2014. Non-members can buy it now for $39.99. EA Access members can simply press the 'Install' button because it is now part of their subscription.

Even though EA Sports UFC has been released several months ago, the MMA game has received plenty of content updates. The most recent update has added legendary fighters, Brock Lesnar, Rampage Jackson, Matt Hughes and Mark Coleman. Some updates have also included improvements in the gameplay.

Don't know about EA Access? For $4.99 a month, members can play some of EA's best Xbox One games. Membership also allows early access to upcoming EA games to play for a limited time. If you love it, buy it, and you can pick up right where you left off. Another perk is 10% discount on EA digital purchases on Xbox One.

Were you looking forward to EA Sports UFC joining the EA Access Vault? Who's your favorite UFC fighter? Let us know in the comments!

  • I will try it out. Imma need them to fix Need for Speed though jeez!
  • Really? Do you like Need for Speed?
  • Wish I could download from smartglass, will download when I get home
  • This is without multi right since ea tends to do that after 90 days for their sports titles
  • Full multiplayer support Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • I just purchased out on black Friday
  • Do you still get achievements through ea access?
  • Yes
  • You get 100% full access to the game with EA Access. Think of EA Access as being like Netflix, but with only EA titles.
  • Or think of it like Xbox music pass. You get access to most ea games but some you must buy.
  • Battlefield 4
  • The 10% discount is a good deal, applies to dlc and full games
  • I still need some more games before I purchase access. Although it is a bargain. If I didn't already have Plants v Zombies I would have bought this. Tried ufc, but it was difficult to master.
  • Epic commentary, Mark!
  • Lets play! Live ID is Lukassk0tt
  • Waiting for them to put FIFA 15 on there.  But this is a nice addition.  Titanfall should really be in there by now, too.
