Earn by Microsoft set to shut down in March 2017

Earn by Microsoft, a program through which users could gradually earn credit to spend at the Microsoft Store by shopping at other stores, will be shut down on March 5, 2017. Microsoft has begun alerting users of the impending shutdown, and the company has also updated the Earn website{.nofollow} with more information.

From Microsoft:

The Microsoft Earn program is ending on March 5, 2017. We want to thank you for being an Earn member, and we hope the program has been beneficial to you.Between now and March, you can spend your Earn credits, as usual, in the Microsoft store (online and in-store).

Microsoft notes in its email that, ahead of the March 5 shutdown, it will stop accepting new Earn enrollments as of October 20. November 15 is also the last day that members will be able to earn credits by shopping at one of the participating locations.
