Xbox’s cloud gaming hours from Game Pass subscribers are up 45% year over year. Console players are also spending 45% more time using cloud streaming, with an estimated 1.7 billion hours streamed in 2025 alone.

It’s no surprise, then, that Xbox continues expanding its “Stream Your Own Game" catalog, letting players stream titles they already own via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Stream your own game is a feature that often flies under the radar. It launched in 2024 with around 50 games but has quickly expanded and now likely sits in the 300+ range of streamable titles. So long as you own the game.

It’s also interesting to see Marathon enter the list, especially as it is a Sony-published title. That said, Helldivers 2 made a similar move, but I’m still praying for a true Xbox app release and Play Anywhere support for both titles.

Still, seeing major titles like Crimson Desert alongside releases like Monster Hunter Stories 3 is a strong sign of how quickly the library is growing.

Stream your own game is available for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers, which includes Essential, Premium, and Ultimate tiers.

🎮 Do you use Xbox's Stream your own game feature?

I can’t say it’s a feature I use much. I’m generally not that into cloud gaming, as my experiences with it haven’t been ideal.

That said, I do appreciate Xbox’s efforts to offer more ways to play, I just prefer using actual hardware over streaming.
