The HyperX Alloy FPS Cherry MX Red mechanical keyboard is down to $59.99 on Amazon. That's $20 off its regular price and a match for its lowest price ever. It has only gone this low twice before and both sales were very brief one-day discounts. The above keyboard uses Cherry MX Red mechanical switches, but you can get the same deal on the Cherry MX Blue version as well, if those are the switches you prefer. The Cherry MX Blue deal price is also available at Best Buy.
The Alloy FPS is a full-size 104-key keyboard, but it still manages to maintain a compact design that's perfect for playing FPS games where you need to keep your mouse as close to you as possible. It's also still quite portable because of the detachable cable that makes it easy to store in your backpack. The solid steel frame is extremely durable so you won't have to worry about breaking it, either.
The keyboard uses Cherry MX Red mechanical keys, which are my preferred mechanical switch. They are tactile, make a satisfying clicky noise, and require very little actual force to activate. You'll find you type a little faster when you don't have to press down on the keys as much.
Got some other peripherals you need to connect? Use the keyboard's USB pass-through port. It can actually charge a device too, if necessary. It's a great spot to plug in your mobile device or something like a mouse.
If you do type fast and want to make sure your keyboard doesn't leave any of those commands behind, then you're in luck. The Alloy FPS features 100% anti-ghosting and full N key rollover so no matter how many keys you press at once or how fast you do it, the important input will never be forgotten.
