Humble Bundle teases 'X018' Xbox One announcement

Microsoft is gearing up for its "X018" event on November 10, with a tease of major Xbox announcements to come. We're expecting big news from first and third-parties in Mexico City, spanning both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC gaming. And now, Humble Bundle is likely in attendance, with a cryptic tweet posted to its official Twitter account.

Humble Bundle is an online storefront for digital games, first made famous by its all-inclusive discounted gaming packages. These game collections can be purchased at buyer-determined prices, with profits shared with charities and studios. While traditionally PC-focused, past bundles have also featured PlayStation 4 games, which makes an Xbox bundle increasingly likely.

We're expecting a variety of Xbox news at X018, currently set for November 10. Rumors indicate numerous Microsoft Studios games will be present, alongside the long-rumored acquisition of Obsidian Entertainment, and other major third-party titles. Don't miss our roundup of X018 expectations for a deeper dive into the show.

  • What is this? Never heard of it
  • Humble Bundle is a pretty sweet game bundling service. They come out with bundles of games every week or so (mainly for Steam/PC but we have seen a few PS4) and, if you purchase them, the proceeds go to charities. You also get to "pay what you want" for the different tiers of bundles. As long as you donate the amount shown for the bundle, you get the games, and you also get to choose how you want your donation split up. Pretty cool service and worth checking out, especially if you are a big PC gamer.
  • I wasn't much of a PC boi, but after I sub'd for the Monthly, boy oh boy, I now have over 150 games in my steam library. Pretty sweet in my opinion, so now I really want some Xbox and GOG games on there as well.
