ICICI Bank is a leading private bank in India with a network of over 4,000 branches and close to 13,000 ATMs in its home market with a presence in 17 countries.
While ICICI Bank has had an official mobile banking app – iMobile – for a while that claims to offer comprehensive features, most users weren't too happy with it, as the 3.0 rating on the Windows Store suggests.
The latest update last week aims to improve the user experience and offers a much enhanced UI. With version 2.0, the app now offers over 100 banking services and the Instabanking feature integrated in the iMobile app allows you to initiate a branch transaction and then proceed to branch to complete it. This avoids any need to wait at the branch.
You can also connect directly to ICICI Bank Phone Banking Officer from within the app and track your deliverables as well as get personalized offers. You can locate an ATM, stop or check status of your cheque, order a cheque book, and track your service requests using the app.
