July's free Xbox Games with Gold include Grow Up, Runbow, and more

The lineup of free Xbox Games with Gold for July has been revealed, and there's a bit of something for everyone. All told, July packs in more than $59 worth of games with 4000 gamerscore up for grabs for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

If you're playing on Xbox One, you can look forward to picking up Grow Up throughout the entire month of July. Runbow, a unique multiplayer platforming title, will also be free from July 16 through August 15.

As for Xbox 360 gamers, Kane & Lynch 2 will go free from July 1 through July 15. Afterwards, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean will be free from July 16 through July 31. And thanks to backward compatibility, both Xbox 360 titles will be playable on Xbox One as well.

While these games will start going free in July, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can still pick up June's free games, including Watch Dogs and Dragon Age: Origins, for free.

  • Good thing I just let my Gold run out. I only kept it for the free games and now there's nothing I am interested In to make the $60 worth it.
  • Yea mine lapsed to now. But haven't really been any games im interested in for a while now.
  • Nice one, Kane & Lynch finally.
  • When will we get new games in Xbox Game Pass?
  • You wont. Unless its Indie games. Does everyone complain about free games? Waiting for someone say its $60? Even then $60 for up to $700 worth of games each year. Don't like most of the selection? You still save money for the games you do get.
  • Doesn't like people complaining about GwG, craps on Gamepass without prescident.
  • Who's complaining, just asking a question.
New games should come every month from what I read.
They announce new gold games frequently before the relevant month so wondered about Game pass.
Simple, no anger or bad mouthing was involved.
  • LOL It's crazy how sensitive these company fans are.
Any criticism or even simple question is almost seen as a personal insult to them. Thankfully not all XB1 owners are as crazy as those people. LOL Anyway about your question they'll add these starting on July 1st: Dead Island Definitive Edition Resident Evil 6 F1 2015 The Flame in the Flood Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition Bard’s Gold Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine Again old games but at least some of these are really good IMO. Enjoy...
  • Yes the announcment came the next day and before July so it wasn't such a crazy question. :)
  • Well it's not July yet, so I think we should wait till July (or a relevant article) to ask that.
  • Disappointing for me. I will for deals.
  • Not too interested in these, but then Kane and Lynch 2 & Pirates of the Caribbean Lego, not that bad, especially with the kiddies!!!! Would have liked better games for the Xbox One Though!!!!
  • Another lego game? Sweeeet! For those who haven't played any of the lego games, they're actually quite fun, and easy for casual gamers to play.
  • I don't know anything about the two Xbox One games so they will be fun to try.
