Kingsman's Mark Strong lends his voice to Battlefield V

Battlefield V is an upcoming first-person shooter set in World War II. The game features single-player campaign scenarios similar to Battlefield 1. For example, one of the main missions focuses on a female solider, her history, and her family. The developer said that Battlefield V tells the "untold stories of World War II", but it's unclear if they're works of fiction or interactive reenactments.

Today, EA announced acclaimed actor Mark Strong's involvement in the game. He's known for his role in the Kingsman films, Kick-Ass, and many others. According to the company, Strong will be doing the voiceover for both the prologue and the epilogue in Battlefield V's War Stories. He should add some much-needed charisma to the experience.

EA also released a video of Strong warming up in the studio in order to lend his voice to the game. It's quite a charming little clip. There's a new trailer for the single-player War Stories releasing tomorrow too. Battlefield V hasn't generated a lot of hype in recent months, so hopefully the single-player reveal will turn that around.

Battlefield V was supposed to launch earlier this year, but was delayed to November 20, 2018 a few weeks ago. Hopefully the game will be a polished experience next month. The beta test was quite rough around the edges, especially when it came to performance on Xbox One.
