Weekend Entertainment: Listen to Lana Del Rey and watch Rick and Morty

Every week, lots of new stuff drops on Groove Music and Movies & TV, and it becomes hard to keep up. Well, that's where we come in. Every weekend we'll highlight some of the hottest albums and singles on Groove Music.

We'll also let you know what movies and television shows just dropped on Movies & TV for your viewing pleasure. It's the weekend, and we'll help entertain you.

Groove Music

Lana Del Rey - Honeymoon

Honeymoon is Lana's fourth studio album and comes only a year after her last album. If you're a fan of her past albums, this one will hit the right notes as well. The album has a tracklist of 14 songs all stamped with Lana Del Rey's signature 'sadcore' style.

The songs that stand out so far to me in Honeymoon are Freak, The Blackest Day, and High By The Beach. Give the album a listen to for yourself and let us know what you think.

A-Trak - We All Fall Down

If there's one DJ that knows music, A-Trak is definitely one of them as he's been around since 1997. The award winning DJ has released his newest single this week titled We All Fall Down featuring vocals from Jamie Lidell.

Even though summer is nearing its end, the song has that perfect uplifting summer groove to it and I can't help but wish that it would've come out sooner. Check the song out for yourself and get ready to do some dancing.

Movies & TV

Rick and Morty

With Season 2 of Rick and Morty nearly over, perhaps it's time to catch up to what is perhaps the funniest show on television right now. The cartoon which airs on Adult Swim came after the creators saw a parody of Doc and Marty of Back to the Future.

Rick and Morty follows an alcoholic scientist and his not-so-bright grandson as they travel through alternate universes as well as time. Somehow, they're always encountering outlandish species and characters that threaten their life. So sit back grab the season pass and get ready to laugh your butt off this weekend

  • Ice T Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • Sorry, I can't tell all the Ice's apart, too many of them...
  • You're possibly the most wrong being in this or any alternate universe.
  • Agreed...Tiny Rick and Get Shwifty were the worst of the season...not to say that they were bad in any way.
  • That's contradictory....
  • Actually it isn't; it means the worst of the season were good episodes.
  • Sorry, the way it was laid out on my phone, showed you agreeing with the guy that said that Tiny Rick was the only good episode of the season.  So it looked contradictory at the time.  The comment stream always gets weird on my phone, sometimes won't let me reply either.  It must know I'm using Chrome, lol
  • Also a fan, brilliant writing and laugh during every episode.
  • Tiny Rick!!!
  • I never did like Demi Del Rey or Lana Lovato, whatever her name is.
  • Wow, do their music have anything in common?
  • That comparison is just so... so... Ay I don't know. Words can't describe. You should make sure you know what you're talking about before you leave such comments.
  • Lana Del Ray sings like there is a cactus shoved in her anus and she's scared to death that its going to get ripped out quickly and without any warning.
  • This is the best description I've ever read of Lana Del Rey.
  • Just imagined how I'd sound I'd I was in that kind of (unrealistic) situation. Nope. Not like Lana.
  • Yay, Honeymoon is her best work by far!
  • Yes honeymoon so so perfect ⌒.⌒
  • Yes.. It's awesome
  • Haven't listened to the album yet. Now you just made me want to do bad.
  • Hay relax...
  • As long as there's no licking in this current season... ;)
  • "You've got to lick my balls, Mharti!"
  • Rick & Morty!!!!!!!!
  • Cool. She usually sounds great!
  • I feel like I should point out that Rick and Morty is based on a parody of Doc and Marty from a short called "The Real Adventures of Doc and Mharti" by one of the co-creators (Justin Roiland)...you make it sound as if they got the idea from someone else completely.
And Justin Roiland has used those two characters in other shorts as well.
  • Yeah Yeah we know ;).. personally that show is twisted as f***... Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • I always though that the show drew parallels to back to the future
  • Rick and Morty forever a hundred times.
  • I downloaded Lana's "Honeymoon", but I'm loving Black Violin's new album "Stereotypes". Posted from this here device.

  • Rick and Morty is amazing. I just love how something inspired from Doctor Who can also be amazing.
