Live Home 3D for Windows 10 helps you virtually redesign your whole home

Coming on the tail of a renewed focus on 3D content creation with the Windows 10 Creators Update, BeLight Software has announced its new Live Home 3D app. A rebranded and revamped version of Live Interior 3D, Live Home 3D helps you to virtually redesign your entire home on Windows 10 with models built off of 2D floor plans.

From the app's description:

Live Home 3D is the most intuitive and feature packed home design app, a successor of Live Interior 3D. Draft detailed 2D floor plans and watch as the structure is automatically built in 3D. Design and decorate the interior, optimizing the furniture arrangement and making smart color decisions in fully functional 3D environment. Use the results in real life by sharing your interior and taking it with you wherever you go on your Windows 10 device.

Nearly everything is adjustable, up to and including interior lighting controls. After you've redesigned and redecorated your home within the app, you can even render a realistic walkthrough video or generate 360-degree panoramic images based on your design.

For more, you can check out Live Home 3D for Windows 10 on the Windows Store now. Do be aware that, while the app is free, there are in-app purchases available, ranging from $10 to $30.

  • Looks nice :)
  • I like it :)
  • I used Live Interior 3D on Windows 8 a couple of years back for working out some remodeling concepts.  For all the negativity about UWP and the Store, it's encouraging to see this developer continuing to support Windows.  And wait a minute, the store listing says that it supports mobile?  Really?  I had to check on my 640, and sure enough it's available.  Was able to download though the store, though it quits when I try to open one of the 3D demo rooms.  To be fair, the 640 doesn't meet the DirectX or Memory requirements so no real surprise.  But I'd be interested to hear if it works on a phone like the 950/XL, Elite X3 or Alcatel Idol 4s.   (And if so, if it support continuum.)
  • Got the trial version on my 950XL. Runs great and does support continuum.
  • Thanks for trying that out.  Good to know.
  • I was just looking at this yesterday and plan to go back and buy. I'll happily support devs who support the platform with quality apps.
  • 950 works like charm
  • Cant wait to try it out
  • I've had Live Interior 3D for a few months now. It works well on Surface Pro 3 and it really can help you plan out home designs. These programs are not for the faint of heart and you have to get out your measuring tape and measure your house  if you want good results. I'm guessing the biggest change between what I have and this new version is the name.
  • Just beleave me, Live Home 3D has got a lot of changes, not only name and UI. Check out: https://www.livehome3d.com/win/whats-new
  • I used to have their application years ago where you would design in 2D and then place a virtual camera in the room to generate a 3D view of it. I loved it back then and am looking forward to using it again now.
  • Nice. Bit hard to use but I was on a phone. Sure its easier on a PC
  • Yeah its better with a pointer and bigger screen
  • Looks real good.
