Madden NFL 18 free trial now available for EA Access members
EA Access subscribers can now get their hands on the latest Madden title a little early.
If you subscribe to EA Access, you can now give Madden NFL 18 an early run on your Xbox One. The game's Play First trial for EA Access is now live (opens in new tab), allowing members to take the game for an early spin for up to 10 hours.
Every aspect of the game should be available to try via the free trial, including the new "Longshot" story mode. Any progress you make during the trial will also carry over to the full game if you decide to pick it up. To get the most out of the trial, however, make sure you close out of the game when you're not playing to ensure that the timer doesn't keep ticking down.
To recap, EA Access is available as a subscription service that gives you access to a vault of EA games, along with early access free trials like this, for $5 per month. Being a member will also give you a 10 percent discount on Madden NFL 18 if you decide to pick it up.
Madden NFL 18 is set to arrive in full on August 25. The game is up for preorder now on the Xbox Store starting at $59.99. EA Access members can access the trial through the "Game Trials" tab in the EA Access app.
