"Microsoft, Gaming and Libations" is a live show hosted on Microsoft's streaming network, Mixer, featuring Jez Corden, Zac Bowden, Daniel Rubino, and Matt Brown from Windows Central.

During this week's Star Wars Battlefront II live stream, we'll give away codes for EA Access! With a 10-hour trial of the game currently available through the service, you'll have the chance to get hands-on ahead of release too. Towards the end, we'll also giveaway a key for Battlefront II on Xbox One.

This week, we'll be diving into the multiplayer mode of Star Wars Battlefront II – the second iteration of Electronic Arts' Star Wars shooter series. The game releases on November 17, 2017, however, a 10-hour trial can now be accessed on the publisher's subscription-based game service, EA Access. Usually priced at $4.99 per month, the service also offers a range of games free, including Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2 and FIFA 17. Battlefront II has been mired in controversy for its progression systems which can be circumvented with real money, but the core essence of great shooter exists here, if EA ever wants to dig it out of the backlash it created.

Tonight, we'll be giving away several EA Access codes to lucky followers of our Mixer channel LIVE during the stream, and Battlefront II for Xbox One towards the end.

  • We'll use a raffle system to make sure we're giving keys to people who aren't AFK.
  • You must be following the channel to be eligible. The raffle will ignore users who aren't following!
  • We'll give EA Access codes throughout for followers only!
  • Star Wars Battlefront II is a digital key, and we'll give that out towards the end. The winner will have to provide their email address.

Star Wars Battlefront II was shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2017, improving upon almost every aspect of the original. Changes across the multiplayer make for a more competitive experience, with a class-based loadout system. It's just a shame that EA decided to incentivize players to skip the progression systems with real money, but DICE says it's working to balance out these systems. We'll just have to wait and see.

Battlefront II is also set to offer the first full-fledged single-player campaign for the series, with a canon story that ties directly into the movies. Following "Inferno Squad," the game explores a narrative based around the Empire, bridging the gap between "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens." The game is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
