Microsoft bundles Office and Windows for businesses with Microsoft 365

Microsoft has today announced a new subscription-based bundle for businesses and enterprises called Microsoft 365, which allows for said businesses to purchase Windows and Office together. There will be two subscription tiers to choose from, Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Business.

Microsoft 365 Enterprise bundles both Windows 10 Enterprise and Office 365 Enterprise under the same subscription service. Microsoft 365 Business includes Office 365 Business Premium, as well as management features for Office and Windows 10. These subscriptions will make it easier for businesses to buy Microsoft software together.

Microsoft is currently holding its annual Inspire event, where it outlines its plans and work with its partners. Around 17,000 people are attending Microsoft Inspire in Washingtdon DC this year, which shows how big of an event this is for Microsoft. Stay tuned to Windows Central for more.

  • Good idea, keeps the business up to date
  • If you haven't tried Office 365 for Business, you should. It's great for businesses of all sizes and making an offering outside of enterprise, is the right move.
  • I love the idea of a Windows Pro bundle. There was already a Windows Enterprise option under the name secure productive enterprise.
  • I don't like the name "Microsoft 365 Enterprise". They could have called it "Microsoft Enterprise 365" or just "Microsoft Enterprise".
  • Place I work (4000+ employee) recently switch to Office365... will they jump to win10... Personally, I wish MS can bundle Gold Member, GamePass, and Groove (OneDrive might be good too).
