Microsoft's Insider Team has been touring the world over the last month, coming to lots of different cities in lots of different countries to give developers all across the globe a chance to talk with other developers and learn about the latest in the developer world of Microsoft. In short, the Insider Dev Tour is a condensed version of Microsoft BUILD, showcasing all the biggest new announcements in a much shorter time span.
The Insider Dev Tour is for developers interested in building Microsoft 365 experiences today, using the latest developer technologies, as well as for those who want a peek into the future. If you can read code, this is for you, regardless if you are a beginner, expert, student, or hobbyist developer!
I recently attended the Insider Dev Tour when it came to London, and as a non-developer even I found myself interested in some of the stuff they were talking about! It's a great chance to meet other developers in your area too, if that's something you find yourself enjoying. Now, Microsoft is bringing the tour to Johannesburg on June 21, so if you're in that area make sure you head on by. The event is free, you just have to sign up!
You'll have a chance to meet the Insider team, including Dona Sarkar, Jeremiah Marble, Pete Brown and many more. If you're interested in attending, make sure you check out the Insider Dev Tour website. Microsoft is also visiting many other locations, including Sydney, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, and more. Check the list of locations if you're interested in attending in your home town!
