Microsoft Store UK offers extra £60 on trade-ins through November 14

Microsoft Store UK offers extra £60 on trade-ins through November 14

If you have any devices to trade in at the Microsoft Store ahead of the holidays, Microsoft is looking to sweeten the deal with a bit of extra cash in the UK. From today through November 14, you'll be able to snag an extra £60 to spend at the Microsoft Store when you trade in a game console, PC, or tablet.

Zooming in on the fine print, the deal is fairly limited. Along with the November 14 cutoff, Microsoft is only allowing the extra £60 promotion to apply to the first 1,500 trade-ins through its online portal. But if you're able to hit the maximum £400 trade-in value on whatever you're ready to give up, the added £60 adds a nice cushion for any holiday purchases on your radar.

As Black Friday approaches and we inch closer to the holidays, we expect to see many more promotions hit the Microsoft Store, ranging from apps and games to PCs and console bundles. But for now, if you live in the UK, you can get started with this trade-in deal at Microsoft.

  • Trade in my old 'table' and get £60. Yes please!
  • Zac has a Surface Table. Probably worth more than 60 quid though!
  • Funny that they value an i5 surface pro 3 at just 68 quid. Funny or insulting!
  • I wouldn't value my i5 SP3 as high as that.
  • Hmm, other trade-in websites are available. The site values my Surface Pro 4 i7 16GB RAM 256GB HDD at £133 which is barely 18 months old! I've seen them sell on Ebay for over £800 with only 8GB RAM. So £60 certainly does NOT sweeten the deal for me.
