New Styx: Shards of Darkness trailer shows off co-op assassinations

Styx: Shards of Darkness, the next entry in the stealthy goblin assassin series, looks to offer a lot of what made the first game a fun romp. One particularly awesome new addition, however, is co-op assassinations. Cyanide Studios has given us a new look at co-op mode in the game's latest trailer, and it looks pretty awesome. Check it out below:
As Cyanide describes it, you can call a partner in at any time to join your adventure. Not only can you team up to take down targets, but co-op also opens up new ways to clear a level that aren't accessible going solo. And when your partner has to leave again, they can just jump out of the game in a snap and leave you to yourself once more.
Styx: Shards of Darkness is set for release on March 14 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Along with the new co-op mode, the game introduces new enemies, improved mechanics, and more. If you're interest is piqued, you can pre-order the game now at the Xbox Store.
