Nokia 800 Windows Phone teaser spot appears in the UK? [Video]

We just received this admittedly tough to discern ad/teaser spot, recorded during X factor USA on ITV2 in the UK. Although you can barely tell what is being shown, it sure looks like a Nokia 800/SeaRay/N9 device being teased.

What's real telling is that the background disco lights are the same from the leaked ad we saw a few days ago, which we find real interesting. Assuming this is what we think it is, it looks like the UK will be getting a taste of Nokia Windows Phone real soon. Anyone else see this and want to comment?

Big thanks to David T., for the video!

  • What the...? OK... LOL
  • Uh I second that what the? lol. Just bring that phone to Sprint please!
  • Those crazy Finns
  • i want them in asia :p
  • Engadget just called the Nokia n9 "possibly the most beautiful phone ever made". Can't wait to see it running WP7!Bring on the N800.
  • So only about 4 seconds and then it disappears?? That's odd
•'s 'subliminal' advertising. You're reaction is probably what a lot of people who saw it are thinking...'What is that'? Now they're curious, and will become intrigued. And when they see the full ad, Boom! They are going to empty their pockets to by a Nokia WP device :)It could happen!
  • ....I don't get that video at all.. :/
  • It appeared in the first ad break of X Factor UK last night, that must have cost them!
  • Can't remember what I was watching on ITV1 but during an ad break in prime time you got the sneak peak after every commercial during the break. It was only like a 2 second blip but was different shots each time. Guess Nokia are going to sell Windows Phone big time.
  • Not sure what I saw there but the WP7 version looks like the needed boost Nokia and MS need to make turn some heads. I hope, for the sake of competition, that both make a dent in the market share and better yet, a dent in the I-need-to-have-that-device share.
  • It's definitely a Windows Phone 7, I saw one of these ads flash up and it had the the back, windows and search button we love so much on the phone,(I also have Sky and went back and paused it but didn't think to take a picture!) I think it is the Nokia 800 :)
